Community Development Foundation
The Creative Collective, in partnership with the Community Development Foundation, ran a bespoke series of six one-day media training courses for representatives of over 60 voluntary organisations nationally. Funded by the Gulbenkian Foundation, each workshop was adapted to suit the needs of the participating agencies, which included the Refugee Council and Voluntary Action Leicester, and covered topics such as writing a press release, undertaking radio interviews, hosting a press conference and developing a media campaign.

Media Training & Consultancy

Voluntary organisations and community groups

Increasingly, voluntary organisations and community groups are approached by journalists for their expertise in response to topical issues - from government policy to local campaigns. Organisations and groups also need to use the media to raise their profile, awareness of goals, champion service users or constructively challenge misconceptions.

It is our practice to ensure that all media training is relevant, topical and tailored to your organisation's needs. We also offer tailored consultancy on marketing and communications to increase the profile and outreach of agencies with a regional and national brief.

What’s on offer?
